A service marketplace connecting professionals with customers
URBAN HUB is a comprehensive service marketplace platform developed during my internship at Durvasa Infotech. This application connects skilled service professionals with customers seeking services in their local area. Drawing inspiration from Urban Company, URBAN HUB provides a streamlined, secure, and user-friendly interface for booking and managing services ranging from home repairs to personal care.

The project began with comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify key features and opportunities for differentiation. I collaborated with UX designers to create wireframes and mockups that prioritized usability and intuitive navigation.
Development followed a modern stack approach (MongoDB, Express.js, Node.js) with Tailwind CSS for styling. I implemented JavaScript components for the frontend, ensuring a responsive design that works flawlessly across devices. The backend was built using Node.js and Express.js, with MongoDB as the database solution for its flexibility with document-based data.
Throughout the development process, I participated in daily stand-up meetings, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving sessions with senior developers.
URBAN HUB successfully launched as a fully functional service marketplace with positive feedback from both service providers and customers. The platform demonstrates my ability to work with modern web technologies and contribute to complex full-stack applications. Key metrics showed a 30% faster service booking process compared to similar platforms, and the intuitive interface received high usability scores in early testing.
