Developed during my internship at Borosil Renewables Limited, the Visitor Management System (VMS) is a web-based application designed to streamline the process of registering, tracking, and managing visitors in corporate environments. This system replaces traditional paper-based visitor logs with a digital solution that enhances security, improves efficiency, and provides valuable analytics.

Technologies Used
Development Process
The development followed a structured approach beginning with requirements gathering from various stakeholders including security personnel, reception staff, and management. After identifying the key needs, I designed the database schema to efficiently store visitor data while ensuring privacy and security compliance.
The front-end was developed with a focus on usability for reception staff who would operate the system daily. The administrator interface was designed separately with comprehensive reporting and configuration options. Throughout the development, I participated in daily stand-ups and received feedback from end-users to continually improve the system.

For Borosil Renewables, it enhanced security by ensuring all visitors were properly screened and tracked, while also providing valuable data on visitor patterns. The system was successfully deployed across all company locations and continues to be used daily.
